Wackometer is a playful songwriting tool. By using wackometer.com you agree to these terms.

Your words stay yours

You own the lyrics you write here. When you post to the Wall, enter the Daily W, or add a line to a Pass the Pen song, you let us show that text on Wackometer, and in share images you create, so other people can read, vote and react. You can take your Wall posts down anytime.

Only post your own writing

Don't post song lyrics, poems or other writing that belongs to someone else. Posts that are reported three times are hidden automatically, and we remove anything that infringes someone's rights. To report a problem, use the Report button or email hello@wackometer.com.

Be decent

No harassment, hate, threats, sexual content involving minors, spam or attempts to break the site. We can remove content or block accounts that break these rules.

Scores are for fun

The meter, the crew and Wingman give opinions, not verdicts. Scores come from an algorithm and crowd votes and can be wrong. Wingman's suggestions are generated by AI and should be checked; you're responsible for what you publish.

Wingman Pro and credits

Pro is a subscription billed through Stripe. It renews until you cancel from Manage billing, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Credits don't expire. Prices can change; we'll tell you before a renewal changes.

The fine print

Wackometer is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses from using it. We may update these terms; if a change is significant we'll say so on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of Florida, USA.
